Due to technical difficulties….Photos from today will be uploaded at some point tomorrow! An excellent day all round, and we have a show!!!!!!
Two thirds of the show is now set, and we are all eager to get back in tomorrow to finish it and start polishing! The Set is really beginning to take shape as well. We did some serious acting work today, and there are so many star performers already!
More!!
We had a lot to get through today, and, if we are being honest, expected everyone to be too tired to get through everything….but….they really applied themselves, and we were so proud of everyone! The hall is starting to take shape as well, and there are some amazing creations! Cant wait for audiences now!
Wow what a busy day….We have already got the bare bones of a show on the way, and the Art room is open for business. The whole cast has now arrived, and we have a huge talented group! Here are a few pictures of the first full day of rehearsals…
A mad busy day, but we have ended it with a cast! Well done to all of you for being so fabulous!
Mimi worked everyone hard on their first routine today, and the biggest Summer School cast yet seemed to love it….Rain meant that going outside was cut short, and the Art room opens for the first time tomorrow, so cant wait to get started!

The end of a very long day…..a small dedicated group have been working hard at the village hall ensuring that we have everything in place for tomorrow. We have pretty much everything set up on the stage….the art room is ready for all the mess that you can throw at Kirsty, and Keith has forgiven the bee that stung him. The t shirts look fantastic, and we can’t wait to see you all on Sunday
We started the whole process this evening with the install of the stage and the rigging of the lights. The whole process took four hours, and was made humorous to most of the crew when a wasp decided to fly up Keith’s t shirt and sting him in the armpit. There’s no accounting for taste. Tomorrow we will be starting early and getting the flats and the back walkway installed as well as setting up the art room. We are really looking forward to it this year. We are full up once again, and have lots of new faces as well as old. We are also delighted that the local newspaper is coming to review the show for the first time this year.
